Club Forget Me Not: December Ice Skating Adventure!

A group of excited Camp Forget Me Notters had a blustery and fun day out in Keystone, Co. on Saturday. The brave group wasn’t slowed by frigid temperatures, the fun-meter was to the maximum! The day started with an incredibly awesome scavenger hunt around Keystone. The campers found many of the fabulous treasures around the village and had a little bit of everything, treats, singing, and prizes from local businesses.

After the hunt, it was time to eat. What better to have when in the frozen tundra of Summit County than chili? A soul-warming meal and some great conversations, laughing, connecting, and enjoying one another. What an amazing day so far!

The day really got going when the campers put on their ice skates. Although an array of abilities on the ice (Cat), giggling, smiling, and joy were enjoyed by all. Some skaters spending as much time making “ice angels” as actually skating. The smile-filled-rosie-cheeks, grins, and positive energy made it a tremendous day! Thank you everyone for coming and being a part of the Camp Forget Me Not family.

See you all January 26, 2019! Happy Holidays from everyone at Camp Forget Me Not!
